For our research on horror films, we got a few of our friends and family to fill out a basic questionnaire on a small scale audience feedback experiment. This was to see whether our film would suit our audiences, and whether it would be popular through a wide range too. Due to the experiments small scale, we only got received basic feedback results, but this let us get a general gist of what people are looking for in horror.

60% of our audience feedback questionnaires were answered by Females, showing that we had a good balance through the genders, rather than stereotypically asking males about horror films due to their love of violence and gore.

We also used a good range of ages as we realised that anyone could have a flare for horrors, especially one that is based on war. 33.3% of the questionnaire results came from adults above 34 years of age, and the rest came from people aged between 15 and 24. Getting answers from older and younger generations gave us a better incite into the world of horror as we see what young people want to see in horror, and what the older people have seen, and know what works, and what doesn't.

The results showed that the majority of people preferred a psychological horror, as it got 7 votes, 4 being from females, and 3 from males. However females also prefer a good thriller as well. The males generally liked any horror film, but again went for psychological as their favourite.

We also asked how often somebody would say they visit the cinema. The majority of people said that they visited the cinema monthly.

The next set of results show that 3/4's of the female population prefer high budget films. They also show that the preference from a males point of view was also a high budget film.
